Advanced research is an option for upper level psychology majors. This allows students to design and conduct original research, and present their findings to the community. Below are examples of studies that have been conducted, or are in the data collection process.

Shannon Saville ('07)- Locus of Control

Brooke Usrey ('07)- A review of art therapy

Chris Metzloff ('07) - Wilderness therapy for adolescent depression

Amanda Williams ('07)- Eating attitudes and competitiveness

Cassandra (Cassie) Barrett ('08)- Why Individuals Choose Punk

Congratulations to Dave Chester (class of 2008), who published his Advanced Research paper. To read this publication visit: http://www.kon.org/urc/v8/chester.html
