Kat Slager is a Peace Corp Volunteer. She did her PCV training in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in western China. She is now teaching university sophmores Oral English at her home site, Kaili (in Guizhou Province) in China. She will be in China for an entire year, exploring the diverse culture, and making close friends.

Markley (Tysinger) Choto has had a baby! Zoelle Mariana Choto was born on her due date, August 29th and weighed 6lbs 15oz.

Dave Chester is currently the manager of the Self Regulation Lab (Emotion, Cognition, and the Brain) at the University of Texas.  David is working on several studies involving social-cognitive biases and keeping the ship on course! He joined the lab after working for two years as a research assistant at University of Michigan. He will begin a PhD program in Nathan DeWall's lab in Fall 2011.
