  1. How many absences are you allowed?

  2. What happens if you exceed the permitted number of absences?

  3. Will students receive reminders about too many absences?

  4. How can you find out your record of absences?
  5. Is there any method of making-up absences – if so how?

  6. When is your draft of the Senior Thesis due to your mentor if you are presenting?

  7. When is the final draft of the Senior Thesis due and where should it be delivered?

  8. How many copies of the Senior Thesis are to be submitted?

  9. An additional document should be attached to the thesis when it is submitted.  What is this document and where may you find it?
  10. How is the grade for presentation (SCI 493) calculated?

  11. How is the grade for attendance (Sci 491 or 492) calculated?

  12. How many copies of the abstract and bibliography should be produced?

  13. When should an electronic copy be of your research abstract be submitted to the convenor?

  14. When is the absolute deadline for submitting electronic abstract and what are the consequences for missing the deadline?
  15. What is the appropriate length for a seminar presentation – including time for questions?

  16. Should the abstract list the experimental results of the study, or should the results be left as “suspense” so someone will wish to read the paper to find the answer?

  17.  When are the seminar titles due?

  18. When is the seminar mentor's name due?
  19.  What are the expections of presenter's friends and workcrew peers when attending the Seminar as guests?
  20. When and under what conditions can the student receive the evaluations of his/her presentation?
