"This is our family-
This is the lot.
After I go, this is
All that you've got, honey-"
Marie to her grandson George in Sunday in the Park With George
Since all my ancestors are Swedish -- Vikings if you will -- I had to color correct some photos in order to tone down the blond hair -- it just seemed too bright. I was a born in Los Angeles and lived ten minutes away from Disneyland for most of my childhood, which explains much of my warped sense of fun. If I had to do it over again, I would chose to be born and grow up just as I did.
This was from my parents 25th Anniversary. My first voyage into fashion history. (I'm the short one, hey wait a second -- why am I the only blond?) P, S, J, C and little Ricky.
In my fathers arms, I remember his hands as if they were the largest in all the world -- and they were. I have more hair now -- barely.
My brother and I, he was 13 and I was one.
Before higher education ...
...after higher education. You decide which is better.
My first car was a Chevy, I paid $200 for it and loved it. I still hold the high school record for sneaking in the most number of teenagers into a drive-in movie; six in the trunk, two in the back seat wells and two under the dash, with one driver and two sitting in the back seat, for a total of 13! (Even if we did discover afterwards that it was one car - one price night, it's still a record.)
