Working toward a safe, consensual community with open dialogue about sexual violence and interpersonal violence
EMPOWERMENT
Empowering the community through education to raise awareness, create change and provide service
Commitment
The RISE Project is committed to working with anyone who is questioning their experiences and anyone who is sure of their experiences, including but not limited to:
· survivors in different stages of healing
· survivors who do not want to report and survivors who do want to report
· survivors of all genders, races, sexualities, ethnicities, interests and abilities
· survivors of many forms of violence ranging from childhood sexual abuse to dating violence to acquaintance rape to emotional abuse to stalking, amongst others.
