Ongoing Service Opportunities

*Adoption Center Volunteer*
Brother Wolf always needs help with the running of our adoption center. Everything from washing dishes and folding laundry to sweeping, mopping and cleaning animals crates.  It's not all cleaning and dirty work, we also need help with socializing our animals.  Rescue animals are often in desperate need of positive interactions with humans so we need volunteers to walk our dogs, play with our cats, etc.

Outward Hounds Hiking Club Members help enrich the quality of lives of our shelter dogs while exploring beautiful WNC. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings we'll meet at the shelter at 10am, leash up our furry friends, make sure we have plenty of water, and head out!

*Adoption Event Volunteer*
Every Saturday, and often other days of the week, Brother Wolf takes some of our adoptable animals and goes out into the community to show them off! We hold adoption events at a variety of different locations, from local festivals to restaurants to Mast General Store.  This is a great opportunity to get out into the community and spread the word about Brother Wolf and the work we do.  Our volunteers chat with folks, sell merchandise, walk the dogs, and make sure the event is a success.  You may even help someone find their new best friend!
