| Description of Agency: The mission of Homeward Bound is to end the cycle of chronic homelessness in Asheville. Our primary purpose is to move chronically homeless persons into service-enriched permanent housing. In addition, we support those who are “passing through” a period of homelessness by providing a comprehensive package of services—in partnership with scores of community organizations—tailored to the needs of each individual. We also collaborate with others in the community to prevent the occurrence of homelessness Programs include: Pathways to Permanent Housing, A Hope Day Center, Safe Haven, Room in the Inn and PATH program. |
