Jewish Life

Jewish life at Warren Wilson is abundant and continually growing. Activities include:
- Monthly Shabbat dinners
- Friday night candle lightings
- Transportation to services for the high holidays
- On-campus adapted services for the high holidays
- Other holiday celebrations: Channukah, Tubeshvat, Purim, Passover, etc.
- Havdalahs by campfires
- Volunteer trips with local Jewish groups
- Building and bringing down of the Sukkah
- Campus-wide passover seder, open to entire Swannanoa community
- Rosh Chosdesh-New Moon Women's Circle
- Men's Group
- Speakers and dialogue on peace in the middle east
- Visiting Rabbis

The Jewish Student Organization provides a place on campus for students to be involved in planning upcoming Jewish events and projects. Students are invited to bring their ideas and or desires for Jewish life services to the group and to lead initiatives themselves if they desire.
