Are you passionate about theatre?
Do you crave a community animated by a spirit of collaboration and teamwork? Do you want to excel as an actor or director, designer or stage manager, dramaturg or technician? Do you want to explore what theatre can help you discover about yourself and the world around you?
We offer a liberal arts oriented theatre program. We focus on deep questions, the nature of creativity and collaboration, and the ability to make a difference. We hope to empower our students to formulate artistic visions for the future, not only marketable skills for today.
At a small college like Warren Wilson, we offer individualized attention in a supportive, collegial atmosphere. Students work creatively alongside professional faculty and staff, and -- most importantly -- learn to work together in a spirit of ensemble.
Whether you are considering theatre as a major course of study, or your passion lies in backstage work, or you just want to act in great college productions while pursuing a major in English or Environmental Studies, there is a place for you in Warren Wilson Theatre.
We've prepared a list of Frequently Asked Questions, to help you get a better feel for what we do.
The strength of our program depends on our students. If you are interested in Warren Wilson and theatre, we want to hear from you!
