Sarah has been practicing yoga on and off since 2004 with most of her practice being within the Vinyasa style of yoga. In May of this year, she decided to take it upon herself to enroll in the Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga Center; she is very excited to be completing her 230hr RYT in November of this year. Sarah works as a Registered Dietitian and enjoys helping others to reach their health and wellness goals and feels that yoga and meditation can play an important role in creating balance in one’s life. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, riding her road bike, climbing, and running on quiet wooded trails.

I came to Wilson looking for a community that shares my values and a commitment to health and sustainability. I have found that community on the Healing Foods and Wellness Crew. I love delicious healing foods, herbs, body work, yoga, and the range of services provided by Wellness. As a vegan, I am always researching and learning new things about eating a balanced and healthy plant-based diet. Please feel free to ask me what I've learned- I am happy to share! And whatever your food preferences please join us for Everyone Cooks, Friday evenings in Lower Fellowship. The food is great and so is the company.
