The Dos and Donts of Being Sick

Things to do to get well:

 

Wash your hands!

Drink lots of water

Eat more simply

Take hot showers

Eat more garlic

Increase Vitamin C

Manage stress

Avoid sugar, fried food and dairy

Eat and drink lots of fruits and vegetables

Drink yarrow, peppermint and elder tea

Get support from you friends and loved ones

Get lots of sleep (as much as your schedule allows!)

 

 

Things to not do when sick:

 

Don’t eat lots of sugar and dairy

Don’t use stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine

Don’t eat heavy proteins, such as meat

Don’t drink alcohol

Don’t put off sleeping

Don’t get over stressed

Don't avoid taking care of yourself
