Get Pumped for Work Day 2014!

On Wednesday, April 2nd, we will celebrate working in community with a day of working side-by-side!  There are no classes on Work Day. Instead, you'll spend the morning with your work crew and share in service, food, and company.  After lunch, you'll meet the rest of the community at Gladfelter where we'll break into groups to tackle large projects around campus. As a community, we'll knock out landscaping, construction, demolition, car washing, tree planting, and deep cleaning projects. And, after our work is done, we'll have a picnic and celebration (with door prizes and music) at the Pavilion!

This year our theme is: "Ask not what your college can do for you..."

We need a design for our t-shirts! Let's have a contest! You should submit your best design! Winner takes grand prize of $50 and has their design printed on the Work Day t-shirts!

Designs are due to the Work Program by 9:00 am Monday, February 24th! Designs must:
  • Be submitted either electronically as a JPEG or physically on an 8.5 x 11" white paper.
  • Include your full name and Warren Wilson College email address.
  • Include an image for the BACK of the shirt (says the theme and contains an original image).
  • Include an image for the FRONT of the shirt (says "Warren Wilson College Work Day 2014 and can contain an original image).
Just some other helpful info:
  • The t-shirts will be red and short sleeved.
  • Designs submitted with thick, bold lines work best (they'll be screen printed).
  • Have fun!
  • Get excited!

We look forward to seeing what you create!
