My Story

I am a development economist who uses the language and methods of game theory to understand how laws, institutions, and social relations affect the incentives of people and organizations. Warren Wilson College is a rare place to carry forward this interest through teaching and research because of its commitment to sustainability and social justice. Through both teaching, collaboration, and research, I hope to demonstrate the value of economics in understanding the world and changing it for the better.
