You can participate as an individual or as a team. A team must consist of a minimum of 2 individuals and a maximum of 4 individuals – any age of participant is acceptable.  You also have the option to be a part of the competitive or recreational category.

The Competitive Category: This category is for individuals who have participated in racing events, large group rides, runs, events etc. and want to compete against each other.

The Recreational Category: This category is for individuals who want to get out and participate in a more relaxed way while still pushing themselves.

Please only register as an individual or a team, not both if you wish to be eligible for the prizes.

Ride Owltober is coming to your home as a virtual challenge to get moving with the Warren Wilson community. Ride, hike, walk, or run anytime, anywhere in October. Log your activity, earn points, and win prizes! Invite friends, family, and/or co-workers to create a workplace or social team! You’re invited to be a part of the Challenge!

Ready to Ride Virtual Kick-Off with Liberty Bicycles
The nationally-ranked WWC Cycling Team is gearing up with WWC alumni-owned Liberty Bicycles to host the Ready to Ride Kick-Off on Thursday, October 1 from 3-4pm ET featuring President Lynn Morton and members of the WWC Cycling team. Ride Owltober kicks off with mini workshops on bike maintenance, youth bike sizing, and nutrition. Learn about our weekly contests, leaderboard, and how to create a team. All registrants will receive a Ride Owltober virtual swag bag.

 

Your $15 registration enters you into the challenge and will go directly to support Men’s and Women’s Cycling at Warren Wilson College. All ages can join the challenge anytime in October. All ages can join the challenge anytime in October.
