Welcome home to Warren Wilson College! For our international students, the journey to our 1,100 acre campus in Western North Carolina is the beginning of an exciting four years of learning in the U.S.

International Student Orientation

All international students are required to attend an international student orientation prior to new student orientation. This helps you acclimate to U.S. culture and Warren Wilson culture. Through our Orientation program, you will:

International Student Advising

As an incoming international student, the Global Engagement Office will support you with everything from culture at Warren Wilson to visa support. The Global Engagement Office partners with other campus offices to support the international student experiences and host programming throughout the academic year.

Incoming students can expect to be paired with a peer “buddy” to help them navigate WWC, North Carolina, and the US. You also have the opportunity to live in the international living and learning dorm, WorldWide House, and access support through the Global Engagement Office.

ELL Classes and Writing Labs

We offer 1:1 tutoring in our writing studio as well as advanced placement ELL courses to support international students whose first language is not English build confidence and excellence in their academic English skills.
