Did you step away from Warren Wilson College, but want to return? The readmission process is for our former students who want to come back and complete their degrees. We’re committed to supporting and counseling you through the readmission process!

Readmission Timeline

  • Submit your application and all supporting materials. (Note the application deadlines in orange and required supporting materials below.)
  • The readmission committee will review your application once it and all required supporting materials are complete.
  • You will receive an admission decision within two weeks of completing your application.
  • Accepted students will receive detailed instructions about the terms of their reenrollment via email. Students who left the College under a probation or suspension status will reenter the College under probationary status until it has been reevaluated at the end of the first semester.
  • To secure your re enrollment at Warren Wilson College, pay your $300 re-enrollment deposit

Steps to Apply

Complete the Readmission Application

Applications for Readmission are open for Spring 2026.

Complete the online Common Application.

If you attended any other college while away from Warren Wilson College, you must submit all Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.

If you are returning from Medical Leave, your medical provider will need to complete the Establishing Readmission Readiness Following a Medical Withdrawal Form.

Check your email for a decision

The decision regarding your application will be sent via email to the email address you provide in your application.

Students who are cleared for readmission need to read their readmission letter carefully to understand the next steps in the re-enrollment process.

Secure Your Spot

To secure your spot, place your $300 re-enrollment deposit.
