My Story
Leah Leitson is a ceramic artist and Professor Emerita at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. She earned her MFA in Ceramics from Louisiana State University in 1996 and her BFA in Ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 1984.
Leah has completed residencies at the Archie Bray Foundation in Montana, the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada, Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark, and Township 10 in North Carolina. She teaches workshops throughout the United States and internationally, including at Penland School of Crafts and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as in Italy and Israel.
Her work has been widely exhibited and is included in museums and private and public collections worldwide.
