My Story
I am an electrical and electronics engineer by education and work experience. I started my career in semiconductor manufacturing and after 15 years transitioned to teaching and research. I taught courses in electrical and computer engineering and worked on projects in the areas of electronic systems, energy audit, solar photovoltaics, microgrids, and electric vehicles. I was always interested in generating energy in a clean and sustainable manner and hence solar energy gave me an opportunity to achieve these goals. I am a hands-on teacher/researcher which attracted me to teach at Warren Wilson College where learning by doing is the norm. I hope to keep expanding my horizon as I work with the students and faculty.
N. Moorthy MuthukrishnanI strongly believe that learning is more effective when combined with hands-on experience and Warren Wilson gives me an opportunity to practice that.
