Warren Wilson Study Abroad

Warren Wilson College encourages all students to study abroad as part of their academic experience, and it provides financial support for qualified participants. Qualification is based on credit hours, a minimum 2.5 GPA, residency, good standing in all areas of campus and academic life and acceptance of program policies. Students may participate in a semester or year abroad in Asia, Latin America, Africa, or Europe or in one of the College’s short-term Study Abroad Courses.  These are unique opportunities that combine on-campus learning with travel to many different parts of the world.

Today, more than ever, global perspectives affect every aspect of our lives— from choice of careers to concern for causes that span national borders. The Study Abroad Program at Warren Wilson offers diverse faculty-led study abroad courses, student exchanges, and other opportunities that help students to enrich their academic and personal experience through other lands and cultures.

International Programs staff is dedicated to building an effective partnership with students throughout the study abroad advising, admission, participation and re-entry process. We encourage students to visit the International Programs Office located in the Bernhard and Katherine Laursen Building.
