Beth Hettrick Berry worked on the Chapel Crew at Warren Wilson and graduated in 1984 with a theatre major. Since then she has been a playwright, director, volunteer in public schools, scout leader, poetry publisher, and much more. In 2004 she received the Community Service Award. She has received six grants from the Rhode Island State Council to stage theatrical productions with elementary and middle school students. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management awarded Berry and Wakefield Elementary School the Environmentalist of the Year Award for their work on the play titled Kidcycle.
