Semester or Year Abroad
Every fall, students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit photographs from their travels abroad. The photos are displayed anonymously, and the Warren Wilson community has a chance to vote for their favorites. This year's photo contest winner in the Cross-Cultural category was Rebecca Moss. Morgan's award-winning photo, featuring his host sister and himself, was taken outside of a mosque in Turkey. Rebecca visited Turkey while studying in Hungary with CIEE. Emily Brigham won in the Nature category for her image of a gannet in northeastern Scotland. Johanna Rotondo-McCord won in the People's Choice category with her photo of a mariachi musician in Mexico.

International Programs Week
International Programs Week is an event that showcases the prospective study abroad courses for the next academic year. Eligible students have a chance to speak with prospective course leaders during lunch in Canon Lounge. During the evenings, returned study abroad course participants hold presentations about their experiences during their recent courses. It's a wonderful opportunity to explore your options and see what others have learned.
The International Programs Office offers workshops and gatherings for returned study abroad students, so that they can share their stories, discuss re-entry into US culture, and learn how to apply their new skills to future educational and career plans.
During Homecoming, alumni can view displays on past study abroad programs and learn about current programs at WWC.
During Family Weekend, returned study abroad students and course instructors have given panel discussions for parents and other family members interested in learning about study abroad at WWC.
The International Programs Office provides support for campus events such as the annual Lunar New Year Celebration, International Women's Day and the Culture, Conversation, Coffee and Cheesecake discussion series.
