Wellness Crew
Every student at Warren Wilson College works.
What work crew will you choose?
Maintaining a healthy and happy campus community is essential. The Wellness Crew organizes events and programming for students to learn and practice self-care, mindfulness, and general wellness throughout their academic journey.
As a member of the crew, you will help plan and market these events and programs for the campus community, as well as maintain the wellness office to be a welcoming place for students.
Events have included:
- Self-Care Carnival
- Nature RX
- DeStress Fest
- Survivor Support Groups
Student Leadership Opportunities
Wellness Crew Leader: Takes the lead in organizing and developing events and programming, maintaining the Wellness Calendar, promoting a positive environment, and modeling a wellness lifestyle. They also assist in scheduling, supervising, and timecard management.
Why Work Crews?
Part of your work experience is reflection, helping ensure that you achieve both your own educational goals as well as our Common Learning Outcomes. These distinguish our Work Program, giving it focus and relevancy that set it apart from a federal work-study or your average part-time job. Each crew in the Work Program identifies crew-specific goals as well. These outline skills and abilities your supervisor will teach you during the semester.
