My Story
I bring deep expertise in outdoor industry business to my teaching at Warren Wilson College, where I lead courses in sustainable business. marketing, and the outdoor economy. My experience in HR allows me to effectively prepare students to find meaningful work post-graduation. I hold an MBA in outdoor business, and my career has consistently bridged business practice with mission-driven work across Western North Carolina, including time with the NC Outward Bound School.
At Warren Wilson, my scholarship examines how “community benefit” gets defined and evaluated in higher-education partnerships, and I remain deeply rooted in Asheville’s civic and volunteer life.
Kristen KeaneSmall class sizes allow me to meaningfully connect with each and every student so that I can teach to their interests and passions.
