My Story
How did we become the person we are today? This curiosity has shaped my fascination with developmental psychology over the past dozen years.
I am originally from California, where I received my bachelor’s degree, studying child development and learning sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. I then worked at Stanford University for a couple of years, where I conducted developmental psychology research in the community. In 2026, I received my PhD from Indiana University, Bloomington, where I applied developmental psychology research to early educational contexts.
I am excited by the inspiring experiential learning opportunities that an education at Warren Wilson College provides. The ability to learn about development processes while in conversation with community partners is not only meaningful, but also allows students to gain insight to explore key concepts which shape development in the real world in real time.
