College awarded grant to start varsity women’s triathlon program

Warren Wilson College has received a Women’s Triathlon Emerging Sport Grant through USA Triathlon. The grant will allow Warren Wilson to establish a new varsity women’s triathlon program, to begin competing Fall 2024.

After 33 years of dedicated service, Jim Magill will step down from his role as Swannanoa Gathering director at the end of the summer season. Dr. Kevin Kehrberg, an acclaimed musician and professor at Warren Wilson, has accepted a two-year appointment as the new interim director.
