Food

Food at Warren Wilson focuses on a shared sense of environmental and social responsibility. Our three campus dining locations participate in farm-to-table, composting, and recycling programs. Student work crews grow and harvest the crops and animals that feed the campus as well as the local community.

Our Farm & Garden

Our award-winning, 300-acre farm and garden produce pasture-raised beef, pork, and poultry; as well as organically-raised vegetables and herbs — all run by students.

Farm

We are currently serving 15% local and are committed to raising that percentage by continually researching local and organic food alternatives.

Feeding the Community

The Food Security issue area works with community gardens and local food banks to address hunger and nutrition availability issues in the Asheville/Buncombe region.
